The 3D modeler will model, texture, light, animate, and render 3D assets in 3D Studio Max using VRay. The models will be generated using site visit measurements, pictures and videos, blueprints, and models from other platforms such as AutoCAD and Revit. Tasks will be received from Seats3D Modeling team leads and Seats3D Project Managers and must be completed by predetermined deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Model, texture, light, and animate 3D assets in 3D Studio Max using Vray lighting and materials.
  • Create textures in Adobe Photoshop from references and existing assets.
  • Ensure accuracy of scale, proportion, and texture by comparing assets to pictures, videos, blueprints, and existing models.
  • Work closely with team leads and project managers to document progress, integrate assets into projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Receive and provide feedback to increase efficiency and accuracy at every stage of the project.

Education & Training

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in architecture, industrial design, or fine art in 3D modeling.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with 3D Studio Max.
  • Preferred 2 years experience with Adobe Photoshop.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Portfolio portraying excellent hard surface and organic modeling skills.

  • Portfolio portraying excellent eye for proportion, composition, lighting, and design.

  • Preferred experience with AutoCAD.

  • Preferred experience with Revit.

  • Preferred experience reading blueprints.

  • Preferred experience with Excel formulas..
