As Drexel Athletics’ exclusive multimedia rights holder, Dragons Sports Properties manages all aspects of the rights relationship, providing corporate partners both traditional and new media opportunities with Drexel in which to bolster their own brand and garner maximum exposure through inventory such as venue signage; event sponsorships and promotion; corporate hospitality; radio and television; digital engagement and visibility via the official athletics website drexeldragons.com.

The Game Day Property Assistant will assist DSP staff in executing all sponsorship related tasks that occur during men's and women's basketball games in the Drexel Daskalakis Athletic Center (DAC). This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the business side of sports, sports marketing, and events operations. This is a paid position.


  • Assist DSP staff with game day activations, including pre-game set up, in-game promotions, and corporate hospitality functions
  • Gather and manage all proof-of-performance materials
  • Interface with corporate partners and their field marketing teams
  • Must be able to attend all men's and women's basketball home games, besides those that fall over holiday break; approximately 6-10 hours per week between November and
  • February, including weekends
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Prior experience with a sports organization or event planning preferred, but not required
  • Candidate must be an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Ideal candidate has a general understanding of basketball and how the game works
  • Positive, can-do attitude required
  • Must be able to walk at a fast pace, go up and down stairs easily, and lift minimum of 20 pounds
  • Candidate should be organized, attentive, proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills
  • Candidate should be able to manage relationships and communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook preferred; background in photography a plus, but not required
  • Ideal candidate has a passion for sports and an interest in the sports industry
