Paciolan enables the sale of more than 120 million tickets per year by powering over 120 college athletic programs, more than 100 professional sports and arenas organizations, 75 performing arts venues, and several regional ticketing partners who serve hundreds of venues.

The HR/Payroll Specialist with Paciolan will provide support to the HR Manager in the full Human Resources spectrum, as needed. The candidate will also prepare and submit bi-weekly payrolls for all Paciolan locations, while providing customer support services to employees and Senior Management.

Responsibilities

Human Resources Responsibilities

The HR/Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing HR support to the HR Manager in the following areas, as needed:

  • Creates, maintains and updates Employee Files
  • Collects, submits and files New Hire documentation
  • Processes Background Checks
  • Verifies I-9 documents through E-Verify
  • Prepares and schedules New Employee Orientations and On-boarding processes
  • Assists with Management of the Performance Review process
  • Assists with recruitment process
  • Schedules phone and in-house interviews
  • Participates in event planning and scheduling
  • Ensures complete confidentiality and security of personal information, including medical information, payroll information, personnel files, etc., without exception
  • Performs other related HR duties as required and assigned

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Processes biweekly payroll for all Paciolan locations (approximately 350 + employees in various states)
  • Performs payroll maintenance including new hire entry, terminations, compensation changes, venue transfers, and other employee changes
  • Resolves employee payroll concerns in a timely manner by thoroughly researching the issue(s) and reporting back to the employee
  • Verifies hours worked; computes and verifies correct deductions
  • Handles specialized payroll tasks including garnishments, child support, manual checks, direct deposits, tax withholding and other similar processes
  • Performs tax processes including auditing and setting up new tax ID’s in the system
  • Prepares clear and concise reports, queries, correspondence and other written materials as needed
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Two to five years’ human resources experience
  • Minimum of five years’ payroll experience
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
