Overview

Learfield is in need of a talented graphic designer to manage all design, graphics, and visual elements for the national sales team, including sales and event collateral, client creative, custom proposal graphics, and other external touchpoints. This person will be responsible for collaborating with others to meet internal and external needs while maintaining brand consistency. Enthusiastic and creative, the ideal candidate will also have an understanding of sales, be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple projects at once, be highly organized, and maintain attention to detail.

 

Learfield, with a deep presence in the college athletics landscape nationwide, manages the multimedia and sponsorship rights for nearly 130 collegiate institutions, conferences, and arenas. The national sales team connects brands with the fans of these 130 universities, the largest, most diverse, and most educated audience in sports. Through creative, customized marketing platforms, we deliver national, scalable campaigns built on local relevance and activation. The sponsorship marketing team acts as an in house creative agency within national sales, working to provide strategic, custom content and marketing ideas that drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with internal Sponsorship Marketing team, plus all national sellers and sales planners across the country
• Create sales collateral and set template standards that best position national sales’ value proposition, adhere to Learfield brand guidelines, and utilize best practices
• Maintain library of standard sales collateral and templates, and manage annual process of refreshing and updating design
• Assist with integrated national sales proposals and presentations
• Create custom graphics and logos for individual proposal needs
• Maintain knowledge of internal graphic assets and libraries, such as photos and university logos
• Help fulfill client partnership elements by designing marketplace creative as needed
• Manage process of strategizing, developing, distributing, and analyzing bi-annual, external newsletter
• Own all other graphic and visual needs for national sales team, including event deliverables, unique collateral, etc. as needed
• Manage ClearSlide vendor relationship and National Sales point person

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Arts, or equivalent degree or experience
• Excellent project management, organization, writing, and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and handle projects on tight timelines
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of the sales process and the support needed within it
• Proficiency in Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expert knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
