Responsibilities

What you’ll do

 

  • Be a quality-focused engineer who implements and evangelizes quality mechanisms, mindset, and thought leadership throughout Paciolan’s software development life cycle.
  • Understand and advocate a holistic testing approach using automated tools as an asset to building better software.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and extend automated quality testing frameworks, including performance, component, security, and user acceptance mechanisms.
  • Work closely with developers, stakeholders, and product managers to evaluate, analyze, and verify functional, security, performance, and system requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple scrum teams to improve and increase our automated testing capabilities and coverage
  • Identify and create additional tools to help facilitate scrum teams testing challenges
  • Foster a data-driven culture to champion continuous improvement and design.
  • Work together with Tech Ops and DevOps teams to identify and alleviate performance bottlenecks in our network design.
  • Reinforce Paciolan’s engineering scrum teams in designing load tolerant systems and software.

Qualifications

 What to bring

 

  • Knowledge of test methodology and tools, software testing standards, methods and conventions, build systems, and the product development cycle
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical and solid communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Work experience with UI automation and REST API test automation including creating and maintaining a framework that can easily scale up.
  • Experience implementing full-stack automated verification mechanisms.
  • Proficient in Java and writing SQL and testing RESTful API’s.
  • Work experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Bamboo
  • Passionate about learning new techniques and technologies 

An Extra “Awesome”

 

Any additional skills which could complement our current staff including:

  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and VM technologies
  • Experience with working in AWS
  • Work experience in load, performance, scalability, RESTful API, and multi-tiered applications.
  • Working experience in configuration management and monitoring.
