  • Overview

    The Director of Learfield 365 will act as a communicative and thought leader, and will oversee our efforts to digitally execute the entire sponsorship sales process within our MS Dynamics CRM and Kore Software systems.  This role will serve as a system advocate of the highest order, will oversee company-wide system buy-in, adherence, and usage, training (both initial and on-going), the ideation, timing, and rollout of future system enhancements, and development of a Power User “Steering Committee” for input from end users.  The person in this chair will also be responsible for implementation of a process for data validation, cleanliness, and maintenance through the Quality Control team.  Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and sufficient experience working in a fast paced, data-driven business strategy environment. This role will be heavily field-facing and service focused, while also leading internal teams.  The VP of Sales Acceleration will have oversight and leadership of the position.  


    • Oversee the day to day buy-in, operation, and usage of MS Dynamics CRM and Kore Software, which supports 130+ individual properties in addition to the Learfield National Sales Team
    • Manage and develop four people, including a manager of Training, a Quality Control Manager, and Two Quality Control Coordinators
    • Supervise the entire sales workflow process in CRM and Kore from initial fact find, to asset-based proposal creation, to contract commitment and generation, to revenue recognition and interface with Great Plains accounting software, to asset scheduling in the fulfillment console, which will ultimately include an interface with Adview and other proof of performance metrics
    • Design CRM and Kore training content, constantly review processes for simplification and efficiencies, develop a cadence and method of communication (emails, Webinars, SportsCenter posts) to share system enhancements and further system mastery for the field and all supporting roles.
    • Implement workflows within the CRM system, which serve to notify target groups of individuals about prescribed stages of advancement or other actions; proactively pursue opportunities to use CRM workflow tools to enhance communication efforts company-wide.
    • Oversee the Contract review process, which entails developing an audit review approach to ensure that revenues, inventory items, opt outs, exclusivities, and other contract terms are captured appropriately in Kore
    • Create, meet with, and develop a Steering committee of power users from the field to ensure that software processes remain as a true reflection of field practices, with an ear for future system enhancements and requests
    • Provide a framework and help automate processes for the Quality Control team to ensure proper account names, master account linkages, and industry categorizations, within the CRM system
    • Coordinate the collection of new target accounts and upload clean lists with account ownership into CRM for monthly company-wide sales “Boot Camp” days
    • Work with Kore and MS Dynamics on future mobile and app capabilities for streamlined data entry
    • Accommodate ad hoc analysis and reporting requesting for various internal and external customers
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • 5+ years of field-facing sales training or management role, with sports or entertainment industry experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, business, or related field.
    • Experience working with CRM platforms, relational databases, and SQL data queries
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others, and influence desired behaviors
