    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Candidate will be working in existing systems, fixing bugs and implementing/adding features/functionality and also provide ideas and designs for better functionality and look-feel of the sites.
    2. Maintain code standards across all websites, to adhere to W3C requirements as well as to allow easy troubleshooting when required.
    3. Develop online ticketing websites for professional sports, college athletics, museums/attractions and performing arts centers with responsibility for developing site image and content.
    4. Develop code that is cross-browser/cross-platform UI compatible and troubleshoot associated issues.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    1. Experience and understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, Ajax.
    2. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS.
    3. Extensive experience in Javascript/JQuery/JSON.
    4. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments like Photoshop, Illustrator.
    5. Basic editing skills (check spelling, grammar, etc.)
    6. Minimum 2-3 year of experience as a web developer
    7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at every level.
    8. Solution-oriented individual required with a goal-oriented approach to accomplish the assigned tasks
    9. Highly motivated and self-starter that is able to work independently or as a member of a team
    10. Experience using Windows and Unix operating system.
    11. Strong analytical and organizations skills. Solid oral and written communication skills, strong problem solving ability

     

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    BS in Computer Science or equivalent
