  • Overview

    The Director of Inventory will serve on the Sales Acceleration leadership team and act as a thought leader, harnessing the power of data, applying analytics, and using technology to accelerate sponsorship revenue by managing all sponsorship inventory for structure, packaging, presence in the L365 (Kore/ CRM) system, new ideas, reporting, and field sales-readiness. This will include creating actionable insights and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data. Candidate should have sufficient experience working in a fast paced, data-driven business strategy environment, with strong abilities to work both independently and as the team lead. The VP of Sales Acceleration will have oversight and leadership of the position.


    • Oversees the day to day operation of all 31K+ inventory SKUs, from categorization and consistent structure of assets, to associated images and use of L365 (Kore/CRM) system to enhance sales rep knowledge, to additions, updates, and deletions of all assets both in-season and off.
    • Direct oversight of the Manager of Inventory position.
    • Manage the process of inventory approval in both on-going & annual reviews with property GMs.
    • Tracking and amplification of pilot inventory programs for future placements.
    • Responsible for coordinating with Integrated Marketing to communicate and track new assets and asset changes to get them “field sales-ready” as quickly as possible.
    • Develop standardized benchmarking metrics around asset availability, structure, and quantities with an aim towards identifying additional opportunities.
    • Consolidate disparate data sources into automated dashboards, with self-service focus for GMs and sales reps.
    • Asset packaging (bundling) in the L365 (Kore) system, for both physical, digital, and intellectual property inventory.
    • Monitor cutting edge sponsorship assets in other sports teams and leagues, along with other industries to bring fresh ideas for pilot testing.
    • Work with Learfield’s University Partnership Group as needed to verify assets and bring potential new properties up to Learfield standards.
    • Perform various quantitative analyses and drive data insights in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
    • Works hand-in-hand with the yield management function to maximize best practices
    • Accommodate ad hoc analysis and reporting requesting for various internal and external customers
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • 5+ years of analysis experience, with sports or entertainment industry experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, data science, information technology, statistics, or other quantitative field.
    • Demonstrated quantitative, financial, and modeling skills, including experience with SQL, CRM, and relational databases
    • Expertise in data visualization (Tableau preferred) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Strong character, strong values and strong work ethic.
