  • Overview

    This position provides a key role within the procurement/strategic sourcing department by supporting the strategic sourcing effort, program implementation and on-going category management for Learfield. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge across various sourcing categories and/or the ability to rapidly learn and retain knowledge about the sourcing process and categories.


    • Ownership of the Travel Management relationship(s) and service level agreement performance.
    • Responsible for adoption, training, and support of the T&E lifecycle (solution) which will encompass employee and non-employee travel and non-travel expenses.
    • Provides regular reporting and dashboards to constituents.
    • Provides ongoing communication and improvements of the T&E program based on changes within the travel industry and analyzed traveler behaviors and challenges.
    • Define, measure, and track categories for spending to provide targeted analyses of budget.
    • Research the market appropriately to ensure that Learfield receives best possible value.
    • Research the vendors to verify their credibility and ability to provide what is promised.
    • Keep abreast of data resulting from the vendor relationship (KPIs) to ensure SLAs are met.
    • Demonstrate concern for meeting internal and external customers' needs in a manner that provides satisfaction and excellent results for the customer.

    • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize duties.
    • Identify and define problems; determine the probable causes; suggest solutions.
    • Must be able to work well with limited information/data.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 1-3 years related experience or a degree in a related area of study.
