    Learfield Licensing Partners, LLP is actively seeking an experienced licensed retail and ecommerce marketing professional to join its team in its Indianapolis, Indiana office. This is a new and immediate opening. Ideal candidates will have experience working in the licensing industry with retailers, licensees and university personnel at all levels. This individual will have the ability to take personal experience and apply that experience to our clients and company and make recommendations on growing and improving the business. This person will be involved with strategic projects that will drive change in the industry by supporting innovative marketing and ecommerce solutions while supporting our clients’ brand building goals.

    Learfield Licensing is a full-service licensing management agency providing services to more than 560 colleges, universities, athletic conferences and special properties nationwide. These services include: Full license management, royalty collection and accounting services, legal and trademark search/registration assistance, trademark enforcement/anti-counterfeiting services, and marketing, merchandising and brand development services.

    Position Summary:
    This position is responsible for coordinating LLP retail marketing initiatives with all stakeholders to maximize sales and royalty revenue for our clients, retailers and licensees. The Retail Marketing Coordinator will manage and update the global Retail Planning Calendar and calendarize project timelines for each initiative and each stakeholder to support all LLP driven marketing initiatives. This position will communicate with and hold all stakeholders accountable to established timelines to ensure flawless execution of LLP Marketing initiatives. In addition to retail marketing functions, this position will support LLP Ecommerce initiatives related to our K12 Licensing and Specialty Brands divisions.

    This position is a part of the Commerce team, whose mission is to maximize opportunities for retailers and licensees in support of our clients’ brand goals in collaboration with our Branding, Marketing and Administrative Teams.

    The candidate for this position must have strong character and values as well as a strong work ethic. Of paramount importance in this role is a relationship building and ability to earn someone’s trust quickly and desire to provide outstanding service to our school clients. The candidate must have the desire and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the LLP organization. The candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently, yet also within the framework of the team and organization. Being a team leader is important, to be a team player is critical. The candidate must be willing and able to travel to trade shows, company meetings as well as meetings with schools, retailers, and/or and licensees. Strong verbal and written communication will be vital to this position.


    • Maintain and update Global Retail Planning Calendar
    • Create stakeholder timelines related to each project on Global Calendar with detailed objectives at the local, regional, and national level
    • Ensure execution of marketing initiatives identified on the Global Retail Planning Calendar by holding all stakeholders accountable to project timelines
    • Analyze ROI for each project, initiative, and marketing event
    • Manage day-to-day Ecommerce support functions including:
      • Coordination of creative and production art process with internal and external partners to support Ecommerce projects for K12 and Specialty Brand teams
      • Upload graphics and data as needed to partner platforms
      • Maintain weekly Ecommerce dashboard and provide insights and trend analysis on sales and royalty revenue
    • Travel to trade shoes, company off-site meetings, meetings with schools, licensees and retailers. (travel 5-10% of work time)
    • This position will also support the Commerce team on other projects as needed
    • Other duties assigned as needed by VP of Commerce


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Sports Marketing, Sports Management or Related Field
    • 3 years of experience working in NCAA retail buying, marketing or similar position with NCAA licensee
    • Sports licensed Ecommerce experience preferred
    • Project management experience preferred
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point proficient; Adobe Illustrator
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written skills
    • Willing and able to travel (10 %). Travel could occasionally be on weekends.
    • Manage time and orchestrate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
    • Presentation skills a plus.
