  • Overview

    The Vice President of Total Rewards has ultimate responsibility of the compensation, benefits, and HRIS functions for the company and will ensure that all related policies are within compliance of all relevant laws and regulations. The position will partner closely with the Chief People Officer to develop strategies and policies related to the management of the Total Rewards offerings and will play a crucial role in implementing HRIS/payroll systems, updating HR policies and processes, and aligning HR goals with business goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Partners with CPO to ensure total rewards philosophy is aligned with the Company’s Mission, Core Values, and Business Strategies.
    • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function.
    • Oversees activities of a non-centralized Total Rewards team.
    • Develops and determines effectiveness of compensation plans and benefits packages in motivating and retaining employees and driving employee performance.
    • Identifies and responds to trends in compensation or benefits packages through review and analysis of competitive intelligence.
    • Supports the Company’s strategic objectives by leveraging HR data and reports.
    • Establishes policies governing security and accuracy of employee records and data.
    • Supports the Chief People Officer with the research, analysis, and selection of systems, and the alignment of systems with other business applications and organizational goals.
    • Ensures compliance of the Company’s compensation and benefit programs with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
    • Partners with the payroll function to ensure alignment with compensation programs.
    • Works closely with other departments including finance, talent management, and operations teams to ensure Total Reward plans are performing effectively.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of progressive Compensation/Benefits/HRIS experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
    • CCP preferred.
    • Strategic mindset with excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
    • Strong character, strong values and strong work ethic.  
    • Must have a genuine interest in learning, understanding and empathizing with the needs of the organization’s leadership and staff.  
    • A passion for serving people.
    • Ability to work and maintain confidential information as private and sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
