    What ANC is looking for…

    A Senior Accountant, based out of our ANC Headquarters in Purchase, NY, to be a staple to our Finance Department. Reporting directly to our VP of Finance, this position will also work closely with our CFO, Sr. Projects Analyst, and Staff Accountant to ensure efficient financial operations of the company. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.



    The right candidate will be willing and able to…

    • Be responsible for all aspects of the general ledger
    • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
    • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the VP Finance’s attention
    • Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
    • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and manual payments
    • Oversee company’s expense reimbursements
    • Compile/distribute daily and monthly cash flow reports
    • Assist the VP Finance with conducting audits
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    The right candidate has...

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
    • 5+ years’ experience in general accounting
    • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Great Plains (GP) software experience is a must
    • Knowledge of GP project accounting highly preferred
    • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience thriving in a fast-paced and demanding working environment with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
    • Comfort building relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities with competing deadlines
    • Superior work ethic and organization skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
